Element tv manual elchs321

Please note when removing the back cover of the TV it should be unplugged prior to any work being done. You can get an electrical shock. To tell if your TV has the 2 separate board the back would have to be removed. If is does have the 2 board there would be 1 along the left side of the TV that goes from the top to the bottom. And then a power supply in the center and also a main video processing board.

If the ere is no board on the left side then your TV would have the combined board. John, you do have a similar problem. When the TV turns on and the screen goes from black to gray and then back to black the problem is typically the LCD panel itself. It is a slight possibility that the main board is the problem, but most likely the problem is the t-con board which is part if the LCD panel and is not a replaceable part.

The problem would be the T-con board and the LCD panel itself. When I turn it on the screen is fine ti'll after a min, then it turns completely black. I can't turn it off by pressing the power button either. I have to unplug it to turn it off. Any suggestions on what the problem may be?

Mel, With the TV shutting down I believe, the backlight is causing the problem. The backlight system is part of the LCD panel and replacement panels are not available for your model. Would the inverter board cause that same problem?

Also I tested the voltages on the power supply and they all correct 5,12,16, and 24v. The inverter can be the issue, but replacement inverter boards were not made available form the manufacture. Would that be correct? The main board is a possibility, but the information you have given my would lead me to the inverter or LCD panel assembly.

I ordered the inverter today. I'll let you know in a couple of days if it solves my problem. Thank You. How much did it cost. Tv turns on get sound but the picture keeps changing color all different colors. Cat knocked our 32 element off our dresser And now it shows two small white puncture dots with a lot of bright static coloring and can't make anything out.

But the sound is all good still Ditto on problem. Sounds like Element products are duds. Search service manual.
