The problem would be the T-con board and the LCD panel itself. When I turn it on the screen is fine ti'll after a min, then it turns completely black. I can't turn it off by pressing the power button either. I have to unplug it to turn it off. Any suggestions on what the problem may be?

Mel, With the TV shutting down I believe, the backlight is causing the problem. The backlight system is part of the LCD panel and replacement panels are not available for your model. Would the inverter board cause that same problem?

Also I tested the voltages on the power supply and they all correct 5,12,16, and 24v. The inverter can be the issue, but replacement inverter boards were not made available form the manufacture. Would that be correct? The main board is a possibility, but the information you have given my would lead me to the inverter or LCD panel assembly.
